The Program for our June 20th meeting includes a trip
The plan is to meet for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. at the Cracker Barrel Restaurant located on SR 50 at Exit 215 ofI95. From there we will caravan to Kennedy Visitors Center. There is a lot to see and do at the Space Center. There are two IMAX shows, the Shuttle Launch Experience, the Spacecraft Discovery, and several other exhibits at the Visitors Complex. Bus tours run every 15 minutes, each making stops at the LC-39 Observation Gantry, the Apollo/Statum V Center, and International Space Station Center.
Tickets are $38.00 adults ($28.00 child 3-11) at the gate. Members of AAA can purchase tickets from AAA for $33.95 (these have to be purchased at an AAA facility). Each ticket is good for a 2nd day within a 7 day period.

There are no' Hotels/Motels at the Visitors Center. For anyone wanting to stay overnight there is a Best Western (321-269-9100) and a Days Inn (321-269-4480) at 1-95 and SR-50. Prices for each is about $65.00/night.
